The Moors and Christians Association of Molvízar celebrates the 135th anniversary of its performance with a Provincial Festival that will bring together six fellow towns from the province of Granada on 19 April 2026.

Six municipalities with a Moors and Christians tradition will join us for a day of brotherhood and celebration.

Reception of invited towns
Welcome for the delegations from the participating towns.
Breakfast for participants
Communal breakfast offered to all Festival participants.
Moors and Christians Parade
Parade through the streets of Molvízar to the marquee at Parque de Andalucía.
Presentations and performances
Each town introduces itself and performs their Moors and Christians traditions.
Communal Lunch
Lunch for all attendees at the Parque de Andalucía marquee.
Social gathering with DJs
Afternoon of music and socialising with DJs until the end of the evening.

Organisation
The Festival is organised by the Moors and Christians Association of Molvízar in collaboration with the Molvízar Town Council and the Provincial Government of Granada, on the occasion of the 135th anniversary of the Moors and Christians performance in Molvízar.
